【 解き方 】
・前半のショッピングモールの話は解答とは関係ない。
・直前のマイクのセリフ「見てよ。激しく雨が降っている。傘があっても濡れちゃうよ。僕は風邪を引きたくない」を読めば、それに続く②の「それ(雨)が止むまで待ちましょう」を選ぶ流れは容易。

それが(雨)が止むまで待ちましょう。

後で傘を買いにいこう。

【 解き方 】
・買い物リストを置いたかどうかでJoとTerryがもめている。
・カッコの前でJoは買い物リストを置いたと主張。
・Terryのカッコの後のセリフに注目。「いつか我々はテーブルを片付けるべきだ」と言っている。そこからテーブルの上がごちゃごちゃである状況が想定される。
→従って①の「これだけの紙の山からどうやってそれ(買い物リスト)を見つけられるのか」が正解。
・How could I ～? は反語表現。「どうしたら～できるのだろうか」には「いや、できない」という含みがある。
